Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button could have their wings clipped before the opening race of the season in Bahrain a week on Sunday after rival teams questioned the legality of their McLaren car.
Ferrari are among those who have asked the ruling body, the FIA, to determine whether McLarens rear wing hands them an unfair aerodynamic advantage.
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner said: ;Our question will be: is it a clever device or a breach of the regulations. It is certainly a different device from all of the other teams. Ferrari are more excited about it than we are.
